The distillate for cosmetic products is obtained from the leaves, branches and reddish-colored bark of the Virginian witch hazel (deciduous tree).
Witch hazel reduces itching, has an antibacterial effect and can heal wounds. Witch hazel can also be used to treat minor skin injuries and skin inflammations, but especially sunburn.
Allantoin.
Allantoin has many uses in cosmetics. In deodorants it prevents the formation of sweat, and as an antioxidant with cell-renewing properties it is found in anti-aging products. It has a fast healing property on cells during their construction, formation and regeneration.
The Vitalizing Skin Tonic is a clarifying, toning facial tonic without parabens and particularly suitable for sensitive skin. It refines and soothes the facial skin after each cleansing. The witch hazel extract has an anti-inflammatory, refreshing effect and prevents irritation.
In the morning and evening, after thorough pre-cleansing with either Sensitive Cleansing Lotion or Sensitive Cleansing Foam, apply some Vitalizing Skin Tonic to a cotton swab and then thoroughly cleanse the face and neck area. Afterwards you can apply your day or night cream.
